Saint Patrick's Day


Saint Patrick's Day is a holiday honoring Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It is held annually on March 17. St. Patrick's Day is a national holiday in Ireland, it is celebrated worldwide by Irish people and increasingly by non-Irish people as well.

In Boston, the local NBA team, "Boston Celtics" also celebrates Saint Patrick's Day, and for all games in these week the team wears a conmemorative jersey like that:

I didn't know that basketball players also celebrate Saint Patrick's Day in Boston!!! The T-shirt is nice, and it has got a shamrock on it! It will bring them good luck!
